AFTER FIVE PRODUCTIONS PARTNERS WITH BARBARA INGRAM SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS
On Saturday, June 20, 2009, After
Five Productions provided audio and video event support for the first
Take Flight Gala and Auction held at the Maryland Theatre. “We believe
that participation in local community events is critical,” said Jim
Miller about his company’s role in the event. “Our goal in
participating in this and many of our community service endeavors is to
enhance the communication process between the organization, their
clients and their benefactors.”
The event was hosted by the Barbara
Ingram Foundation and featured a variety of activities. In addition to
bidding on the nine butterflies up for auction, attendees were also able
to tour the newly renovated Barbara Ingram School for the Arts
building. The successful evening, which raised funds for the school,
concluded with a dramatic performance by Barbara Ingram students. For
more information about the event or the foundation, call Dale Bannon at

- AFP MOVES INTO NEW LARGER FACILITY
On June 3, 2009 After Five
Productions officially opened the doors of its new facility. The 1,800
square foot space located on Greencastle Pike in Hagerstown, MD,
provides a sense of permanence for the company which has had a number of
homes since its founding in 2002. The move was necessary since AFP
quickly out grew its former office space at Hagerstown Community
College’s Technical Innovation Center. The amenities provided by this
facility create a more comfortable atmosphere for staff and customers as
well as significantly improving After Five’s ability to produce quality
products. “We now have an in-house production set that will allow us to
do more types of video more quickly and more cost effectively,” says Jim
Miller, President and CEO. “Also we have expansion room that will allow
us to bring on additional staff as needed for growth.” After Five
Productions is planning an open house in September of this year.
4/12/2009 - AFP PARTNERS WITH
GRCA ON DOG TRAINING VIDEO
The Golden Retriever Club of America
recently contracted with After Five Productions to produce a video for
the organization. One of the goals of the club is to promote the
breed’s ability to perform as a working dog. To that end, the GRCA has
developed and administers tests to dogs at one of two levels of
achievement. According to After Five President Jim Miller, “this video
is intended to provide handlers with relevant information about these
two designations and how to train your dog so that you are successful in
the testing process.”
AFP staff members have significant
experience in the outdoor sports markets and are excited about the
partnership with GRCA. The completed product is expected to be
completed by late August and will distributed to club members nationwide
free of charge. For more information about the Golden Retriever Club of
America, visit their website at
